Practical Hands-On Courses

Falcon College strives to discover and develop the strengths of every student and encourages them “to reach for the stars” – sic itur ad astra.

Astra Academy

The Astra Academy was started in 2025 for those Sixth Form students who are interested in learning subjects and obtaining skills outside of the traditional Cambridge Education curriculum.

The Academy is based at a newly built commercial farming business on the Southern Paddocks Section of the College property in Esigodini.

The students continue to live in their respective Boarding Houses, and their school life continues as normal, except that morning Cambridge A level lessons are replaced with the Astra Academy Curriculum.

The Astra Academy develops technical proficiency, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork to prepare students for real-world careers and challenges. The aim is to expose students to potential future careers and give them the skills and confidence to graduate from Falcon College with belief and hope in their futures.
